We love Layton City. It's a beautiful area with lots of dining and shopping. It's conveniently located between Ogden, Salt Lake and the Wasatch Mountains. So much outdoor recreation and family friendly activities with great parks.

Good
Layton is growing, just like everywhere else. Busy around the area. With Hill Airforce Base and very close to the shopping mall. Lots of places to eat or go shopping.

Excellent
We have stayed in Layton many times and it has a lot to offer and is only 30 minutes from Salt Lake City which is a plus.
"We stayed here traveling from the PNW back home to Iowa. We stayed here for the Great Salt Lake. Wish we would have stayed closer to the airport because the drive added 35 miles to my drive. Oops. Great breakfast, rooms were clean and updated. The staff were mostly pleasant. We don't normally stay in the upper scale places, but this was a nice place. "
"The pool had an outdoor patio area which was really cool. Staff was very prompt on restocking items (in the pool and the rooms) and at the concierge counter."
