Lovely hotel . The staff were very welcoming . We had arrived before check in time . We were offered coffee and cookies while our room was made ready . We were not charged extra 25 or 50% extra for early arrival ( out of our control as our flight from Jaisalmer arrived early ) This was in stark contrast to one of the Taj hotels we stayed in Jaipur a week ago where we were charged 25% extra for arriving early again due to early flight arrival .
Our room at the Marriot was comfortable . Welcome complimentary treats of fruits and pastries arrived soon after we settled in . We were spoilt for choice at lunch time and dinner in their spacious all day restaurant . Huge selection of various cuisines in their buffet .
All the staff were helpful and courteous and provided excellent service . Guest relations officer Unnati was particularly helpful and made our stay special and one of the hotel drivers who took me shopping ( sorry I can’t recall his name ) was brilliant . All in all a great experience staying in this hotel and would highly recommend it to travellers . "
