I want to give this hotel 5 stars, but I cannot since they double charged me and has not given my a refund as of today, 2 months later. The young lady that checked me out said the room was not prepaid. OF COURSE I should have run out to the car and found my prepaid email from Hotels.com, but I did not, I trusted her. She charged me a second time. I called hotels.com and they said I had to deal with the hotel, but when I call, no one speaks english. Hotels.com finally called them and said the hotel would give me refund. After many broken english/italian emails we have yet to receive a refund. No matter how lovely this hotel was, it was not worth double the price and it makes me so sad. I wish I was writing about the meals, the wonderful visit we had and the staff, instead I have to complain about not getting my refund.
