Just don’t stay here
He would accept my booking, but charged me less then what I booked it for. Half the floor was wet from a leaky air con and other half was sticky from God only knows what

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!
This is the single worse hotel I have ever been to. I was given a room that was dirty, standing water in the tub, uncleaned toilet, stained sheets, dead bugs on the walls, dressers with missing drawers, curtains that at were secured with thumb tacks, air conditioner air grates were caked over with age old dust and debris. I looked for a power outlet near my bed and I had to pull the mattress away from the wall to discover old food, trash, cigarette butts, and some other latex or plastic against the wall and on the floor. I tried calling the front desk, and no one answered, and I called a day later after I left and there was "no record" of my stay, although my card was charged by them. I don't know if the state of Texas or the local municipal government does inspections because they need to see this place; and if they don't, this place is reason to start. I am amazed that anyone can own a business and with any clear consciousness allow guest to stay in such filth. I managed to find a screw sticking out of the wall to hang my jacket on, and I had to sleep in my clothes because the bed was that nasty. I risked leaving my luggage in the car rather than risking getting some type of bug or some other hibbie-gibbie in the rest of my clothes. I thought I was getting a sweet deal, but remember, you get what you pay for. This is one place you don't want to go to at all, do yourself a favor and sleep in your car if you need to sleep. AVOID this place by all means! I am dead serious!

8/10 Very Good

Weekend at Abram Inn
The Abram Inn was adequate for what we needed. It may not be the most aesthetically pleasing building but it was clean, quiet and served it's purpose. We were there to visit friends and family so we were running around a lot but the bed was clean and comfortable. The shower was hot and the water pressure was awesome, and the the area seemed calm and safe. Overall, this was worth the price.

Worst hotel ever. Even with the price being only $48.00 it still was the worst value. There was paint splattered all over the tub and bathroom, cigarette holes in the bedspread, TV didn't work and the curtain was held to the wall with duct tape on one side and a nail on the other. No joking. We only stayed because it was very late and very cold and rainy and we had had a long day. We were exhausted. We left early the next morning.

Travelocity rates this as 3 star - what alternate universe do they live in? This place is a run down old dump. Sheets I was alarmed to sleep on. No blanket (it's cold out), 1 skinny towel, no night stand, no slip mat in a slippery tub, no lamp, no cup or glass, Just a roof over my head. 1 very big spider that went scurrying across the bathroom floor when I got up for a late night pee. 3 Stars!
