A good local Peruvian hotel. Great price, nice rooms, showers can be a little cold sometimes but it’s a great little hotel. My go to when I’m in Cusco for work.

This is a classic hotel in Cusco, very well maintained in my opinion, and very affordable to stay while visiting Machu Picchu and Cusco. Luiyi and Yanet from front desk did an excellent job with me, taking care of all details. I felt safe all time there and around. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there are lot of them around very close. They have breakfast included, and if you, as I did, have to leave early, they provide a breakfast box to go as a courtesy. I truly recommend this hotel to everyone arriving in Cusco for any reason.

Not such a good experience for what Google shows as a 5 star hotel - it’s at most 3 even from local standards - we booked 2 rooms - one for 3 kids with 2 queen beds but not sure why they charged extra person charge ( which will be contested) and we booked ‘premium’ room with a King bed but during check in they didn’t have it available- gave it someone else! And couple of times had to call front desk to have water turned on for the bathrooms - and one time we opted to try the free breakfast there was hardly enough for the guests present; and apparently they have a quota for a single toilet roll per bathroom. They only good thing was rooms and bathrooms were clean and there was heat

Not sure why Google shows this as a 5-star hotel - it’s at most 3 and that’s being generous even from local standards; we booked a room for 3 kids with 2 queen beds and they charged an extra guest fee (which will be contested) and booked one with King bed which they didn’t have during checkin; location is ok, couple of times had to call front desk to have water turned on as there was no water in the bathrooms, and looks like they have a quota for only single toilet roll per stay! and one time we decided to take them up for the free breakfast there was hardly anything there. But rooms were clean and there was heat!

The previous reviewers must have lied 😔
Firstly, most misleading reviews ever. The staff and location are the only redeeming qualities if any. It's really close to the PeruRail station and a short walk to the square and tons of food options. The staff were super friendly and kind. They were easy to talk to and caring. Oh and they gave me a boxed breakfast for my early morning adventures. Maybe the hotel was great in the past, I didn't get that experience. The first room I got had a strong sulphur/sewage smell and a moldly bathroom. I got to change to a better room but there was no working heat and the hot water in the shower took about 15 - 20 minutes to flow if it flowed at all. The toilet as seemed to leak so I had to use paper to stop it flowing all over the bathroom. The breakfast was disappointing, not many options, cold, atleast it included fruits. I'd suggest they do some maintenance. The walls could do with some paint and if they fix the heater they could save a lot of water and money and be actually eco friendly. I'm wondering if Cusco has any good budget options since this seemed to be the best and was disappointing so how bad could the other hotels be?

The hotel had beautiful decor and well equipped. Walking distance to the Temple of the Sun and the train station. Reception was very helpful. We had dropped our laundry off to a place that said it would deliver it to the hotel by 8pm. The receptionist chased them up for us!

Decent Hotel for good price.
First room was in front, facing the road. There were no black out curtains and it was very lit at night. Front desk staff immediately offered to move us to inside room, which was better. However, the only window view was of a narrow atrium. The breakfast was okay. The people were very nice. It was a hike to Plaza de Armas, but very doable.

I was happy with my 2-night stay there. The breakfast was good. The room was clean and quiet. The staff were nice and helpful. I'd stay there again. It's a pleasant walk to the Plaza de Armas and other things to see in Cusco.

They were so accommodating. My friend left a day early and they were great holding the room for me when I was out on a trip near Cusco! My one complaint was that there was no water in the hotel. I had to remember to buy some each night.

I'm really glad I stayed here. For the money, I haven't had quite the space and the service that I received with Warari. It's not a modern high-design hotel, but the design quality and ammenities are really more than the price inidcates. As for the distance from the historic centre, it's on the outside and within 20min walk of just about anythink I needed.
