The staff were all very friendly and accommodating despite not speaking English (virtual translations work well). Breakfast included is good especially for the price of the room (although would be nice if it stayed open until 9.30 rather than 9am). Room was very clean and convenient. Consistent hot water and decent water pressure. The only real downside is the terrible WiFi which I was getting 1Mbps or less. Hotel is literally outside Matsudo station so super convenient

New hotel 3min from Matsudo station, very convenient if you are staying in Matsudo. I stayed just for 1 night to be early at Tomita Ramen the following day - and will surely repeat this combination. The hotel is new, everything is clean and works. Staff is great, bed is great. Fairly priced. The shower is excellent - at the ceiling, better than the expensive Hyatt that I was staying in Tokyo. Japanese “home-made” breakfast is simple.
