They charged $100 deposit when we got there and it had to be on a card not cash. Plus, they didn’t have a microwave, or any extra blankets. Then they don’t have free parking. It was $32 plus tax to park your own car. Valet parking was $42 plus tax.

Unforgettable Rodeo experience and stay
I had an exceptional stay at the Royal Sonesta during Rodeo weekend. From the moment I arrived, the experience was seamless. The check-in process was efficient, and the hotel staff were consistently friendly and helpful. My room was impeccably clean, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. A special shoutout to Miechal, the bartender, who crafted delicious drinks and set the perfect tone for our evenings. The only small issue was that toilet paper wasn't replenished during room cleaning, but it was a minor detail in an otherwise flawless stay. The hotel's location was incredibly convenient, and the staff's friendliness, even during a 5 am check-out, was remarkable. They also accommodated our early arrival by storing our bags and ensured our entire group was on the same floor. Let's not forge the extrenly comfotable beds. The Royal Sonesta exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it for any visit to Houston.

Out of hotels I stayed at in Houston this is one of my favorites.The staff provides excellent customer service, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The service of the staff is exceptional. They are friendly, attentive and truly want you to have a remarkable stay. In this day and age it’s great to see exceptional service being front and center. They even offer a free shuttle to take you back and forth to dining and shopping options in the area. The facilities are great and the value for the rate is excellent. Will definitely stay again
