The hotel was very nice, the suite was set up in a way that made very good use of the space. It is not big, but efficient, pleasant and clean with nice little perks like salt and pepper in the kitchen.
There were several staff members that went above and beyond.
Unfortunately, when I complained about the $100 pet fee for one night, which seems extremely high, the manager told me that they can charge as much as $200 legally (so I should feel good about it?) and because I booked it on a third party website there was nothing he could do about it. This is not true. I had already paid for the visit but gave them my credit card when I checked in for this random fee. The person working at the front desk at the time said I could speak to a manager the following morning. The manager said it was "a deposit" but that you don't get it back and that if you stay for longer, there is an additional nightly fee. Because the fee is on their website, he was not willing to adjust it. He said in the future I should book directly and they would be willing to talk about the fee.
Too bad, it is a very nice hotel and the rest of the staff was outstanding. The guy working breakfast was unbelievably and upbeat and helpful.
