Excellent stay.
Beautiful guest house in the heart of Buxton. Free parking on site. Lovely walk on the doorstep around the lake. Really good welcome and helpful information for my stay. Restaurants cafes and pubs in walking distance. Comfortable room with everything you could need. Nice soft towels and bed!

Excellent b&b in a perfect location for a weekend break to see a concert at the Pavillion Arts Centre which was only a 10 minute walk away through the Pavillion gardens. Spotlessly clean. Great range of breakfast options, catering well for vegetarians and dairy free. The host, Gerard, could not have been more helpful with local information and recommendations to make our stay more enjoyable.

This was a fantastic place to stay; clean, comfortable, spacious, and with a brilliant breakfast. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Excellent. I generally don’t use guest houses, however Roseleigh far exceeded expectations . The hosts where friendly and full of knowledge of the local area. Room was sizeable, clean and comfortable and you won’t get a better breakfast anywhere. The hotel is a very short walk to the centre of Buxton.

Great Weekend Break
Loved the stay at Roseleigh, it's in a great location next to Pavilion Gardens in Buxton. I thought they were a bit OTT on safety but I suppose this is a good thing and a sign of good intentions. The room (8) was lovely but there were two big chairs in there that were a bit in the way. I would love to go back and stay again.

Roseleigh is in a beautiful place over looking the park had a warm friendly welcome from Maggi and Gerard and they do their best to keep you covid safe, room warm clean and cosy, breakfast local produce and tasty all the staff at breakfast were lovely , I would really recommend Roseleigh Guest House

Beautiful, spotless guest house, wonderfully located. Room was big and comfy. Breakfast was delicious. Staff and owners, were highly professional and friendly, you couldn't fault them, nothing was too much trouble. And staff is paid according to living wages which is very important for my husband and myself.
