The hotel has been renovated from the military quarters. Very nice idea. There are nice facilities, including glogi for the Christmas time. There are two Breakfast rooms, so it is well spaced out. There is also a nice Sauna facilities, a lounge (that you normally see in a hostel) and a games room. The stay is certainly fun and family orientated, as well as with friends. However, the hotel service could be much better. For example, in the room I stayed at, the shower drainage was partly blocked, making the rest of the toilet floor wet, and if the shower was very long, it could have flooded the entire place. I had to contact reception to have it fixed. This was done the following day, and I suppose if people are there for only one night, they might not say anything about it. After the first night, the bed was not made, and one hand towel was not replaced. Again, I had to message reception to have it sorted. The bathroom sink still had hair around the sink, and the soaps were not replaced. Although these are not deal breakers, or upsetting the stay, they are little annoyances that prevent the stay be excellent. Breakfast was ok, but cutlery, plates, cups were a bit 'cheap'. The sauna was also a bit cold/slow to warm up, but jacuzzi was nice. There is a kids play room too. There is potential, and with improvements could be the outstanding place to stay in the city, but currently misses the mark.
