I booked a two bed wheelchair accessible stay. It turned out to be only on one bed wheelchair accessible room. The service at the hotel told Dad, the money would be refunded. So far it has not been.

The breakfast was poor. Waffles was nasty and the biscuits was hard as a rock. Bathroom wasn't very clean, hair in the shower. This hotel use to be my favorite to stay in and it no longer is. Still have not received my deposit back yet.

Will Not Be Going Back
Generally, my expectation of a room is that it be clean and functional. This room was clean, but the function was seriously lacking. The toilet seat was falling off and the shower was almost unusable. There was very little water or pressure coming out of the shower head and it was almost cold. I made the front desk aware, but they never sent anyone to take a look. I will not stay there again.

Christmas week at Independence Quality Inn
We booked via 3rd party and requested a ground level floor and handicapped accessible room if possible. This motel DELIVERED ! We loved the shower with large shower chair and detachable shower head! Our primary negative experience was we had problems with our room key not unlocking the auxiliary door from the outside several times and had to take the keys back around to the front entrance and ask the desk clerk to reset them. The other negative was room service had to be requested. The clerk did not inform us of this upon check in and we failed to see the notice posted on bathroom mirror. 🙄 I asked for towels and was told they would be delivered shortly—and in less than 5 minutes they were! Overall a good place to stay. We have stayed there before and definitely will again!

The staff was FANTASTIC! They were very nice and incredibly helpful. Some of the best service I've had at a hotel for sure. The room was so-so. There were bloodstains on the curtains, debris in the bathtub, and cigarette burns on the comforter. The breakfast was pretty awful, honestly. The eggs were gross, the biscuits were hard as a rock, the cereal was stale, but the sausage wasn't bad. I'd get your own breakfast elsewhere. It was inexpensive, so if you need a cheaper place to stay the night, its worth the money. Be prepared for a deposit on your room. It is refundable if you don't mess up the room.

First room the toilet wouldn’t flush. Moved to another room tv and air conditioner didn’t work. Was gonna move to another room but toilet wouldn’t flush so stayed in second room with no tv and air. Breakfast the sausage gravy was cold, biscuits hard, waffle mix so runny wouldn’t make waffle and orange juice sour. Hotel was under construction.

The property is not in a good. Parking lot was pretty sketchy. The lobby was fairly nice, but it was downhill from there. The room was in serious need of repairs. The tub caulking was disgusting. Out our window, we had a view of a gazebo with trash laying around. The air conditioning worked well.

The room was clean and did not have carpet! That was an upgrade as carpet always holds odor. Bathroom was dated but clean. The courtyard area/gazebo had not been mowed and someone left empty beer cans all over. Overall, it was a comfortable room for the weekend visit to the area. The staff was friendly and nice.

This had to be the dirties place I have ever seen. And my wife and I didn't even stay. Because once we got to our room two bikers got into a fight and a gun was pulled out. We left immediately. Can't believe that Hotels.com has it on their app for an options.

Our kids would have rather slept in the hot truck than in this hotel room. It was very dirty and sketchy. Think twice before staying here. The pics that are posted are not even close to what the hotel looked like. Run!!!!
