I booked a room expecting a basic night of rest, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. A very bright LED spotlight from the hotel’s pool area was directed straight at the bay window of my room and was flashing on and off throughout the night. Even with the curtains fully closed, the light was so intense that it lit up the room and made it very difficult to sleep. I was woken up several times and had a very poor night’s rest.
I contacted the booking agent afterward to request a refund, but was told that the hotel’s refund policy did not allow for compensation. I was disappointed by this response, especially since the issue was due to a setup on the hotel’s own property — something that could and should be addressed.
Guests considering this property should be aware that if an issue arises, there may not be any resolution or support offered, even if it’s something within the hotel's control.
