Our hosts at the Royal Sonesta New Orleans were great! The staff was always friendly and informative. The room was always clean and well stocked. Security was good as well as the location. The location was great because it let us go walkable to things we wanted to see or just a short cab ride to get there.

Not for people who don't party

The hotel was grand and the pool area very nice. But the noice! We came from Europe and didn't know Bourbon street when booking the hotel and the hotel is on that street! It's terrible! I have never heard this loud noice of bars playing music next to each other starting in the early afternoon to 3.00 am. So if you are not joining this party, I really don't recommend any hotels i this area.

Friendly Staff

My mother and I are not night life people but we enjoyed chatting with staff and meals at the hotel restaurant. Parking is a little confusing the first time but once you go, it’s easy!
