My mom and I stayed here during our trip to the Liberty Bowl last December. The experience was good. The price was very affordable and the gated parking was a plus. The hotel is right next to the airport and even though it is out of the way from the Mississippi River, Beale, and the other key places, finding an Uber was not difficult and affordable as well.

I planned to stay two nights at the La Quinta while I was in Memphis on business. The room (No. 515) as sufficient large and comfortable, but reeked of smoke (in the non-smoking room). The smell was so bad it made me nauseous. I left the room before the second night (after the check-out time making me pay for the second night).
