We booked a room (for 1 day) at the end of our holiday, just to store our cases and get changed for the beach before our late flight that evening. When we arrived there was no reception, only WhatsApp messages with the manager. He said our room would be ready soon, so we waited. And waited. In the baking heat. After a restaurant visit it was ready and a dingy, depressing room greeted us (& not particularly clean, with hairs on the floor). The towels smelt bad, not that we were planning on showering there. The manager then told us the cleaner had said she’d seen more than 2 people going in the room, and that it was only booked for 2. I explained that our children are only going in there to change for the beach and we’re leaving at 8pm for our flight. He was annoyed about that and said he could’ve charged us extra. It put a sour note on our last day & I would not recommend staying there.
