Hospitality!
Sergio was an excellent host. He gave us so much useful information and helped us SO much with booking things, getting taxis, and guiding us with getting internet access. Additionally, he really cared about us and our stay. His wife's sister made breakfast for us and she was absolutely lovely as well. These are truly hospitable people. Don't get hung up on the technicalities, and enjoy this exceedingly safe and beautiful place. Please don't come to Havana expecting US-style amenities. All the amenities listed are as stated, and there's a good chance you won't find a casa better than this in Havana. Thank you Sergio!

Wonderful experience at Hostal Brina. Great location to explore walking Havana Vieja, clean room with fridge, AC, private bathroom and wifi network available. Sergio, the host, was extremily nice and available, with information, stories, taxis and even helped me get another room (he was fully booked) when my flight got delayed two days. Highly recommended

Best place we stayed in Cuba!!
This was my favorite place I ever stayed in Cuba. Sergio, the host, is so amazing and really went out of his way to make our stay incredible. He was able to exchange money for us at a great rate, sell us WIFI cards, he even has a WIFI hotspot in the house which is very rare for Cuba, he arranged transportation, and gave us local recommendations that were spot on. The room was very comfortable and the location can't be beat- walkable to everything in old Havana. But the best part was Sergio. I left with a new Cuban friend. I've never had a host go over and beyond the way he did to make our trip great. Traveling to Cuba is a different experience than in the US, do yourself a favor and book this place...you won't regret it.
