I have been traveling for business for over 35 years, which was one of the worst experiences I have had in any hotel. I made a reservation specifically for this hotel in September for its walkable location. They refused to give me a room even though they said I had a confirmed reservation. As I watched the person next on line get a room.
They then told me they could get me a room three minutes walking distance away. If Usain Bolt were sprinting in his prime for the whole three minutes, he would have another ten minutes to go. According to them, the hotel was equal to their hotel, except it wasn't. No room service, laundry service, or maid service. I spent an extra 50 Euros a day and an additional 40 minutes commuting. Of course, the hotel would not compensate me for my extra cost, extra time, inconvenience, or the lack of services they guaranteed me when they accepted my reservation. If I took care of my customers like this I would be out of business at least they are ten minute walk from Hall 8 of the Frankfurt Fait so at least their location will keep them going.
