stress and more stress
Upon arrival at hotel was told there was no reservation. Called hotels.com who called the property and was told that they DO have a room. Went back to property - they said they gave my room away - they tried to put me in a different hotel which didn’t have a bathroom at all. Finally found another hotel - on my own - they drove me to it and I had to pay cash for the new place - they told me I had to get my money back through Hotels.com. When hotels.com was contacted they told me that the hotel owner told them that they had relocated me - that the reservation was considered accommodated and they wouldn’t refund my money. I went back to the hotel and complained - and they gave me a partial refund. Disgusted at the entire process - can not understand how hotels.com couldn’t comprehend that the hotel owner was not being honest - have never been more frustrated.
