Great Location to Cruise Port and Gastown
The room was small, but it was just two of us, so we didnt mind, as it was just to sleep. We were in town for a cruise, and this hotel is walking distance to the port. Easy enough that we were able to walk with our suitcases no problem. Can also take the train from/to airport, as train station is walking distance. Lastly, it was an easy walk to Gastown, as well as an easy walk to train to get to the ferries that go to Granville. For the price, it was a great hotel. ONLY negative was the hotel was very busy when we were there, and therefore, breakfast area was packed, with not enough seating. We ended up leaving and getting breakfast elsewhere, and we booked this hotel partially due to included breakfast.

Overall a good place to stay, close to things.
Arvin at the front desk was extremely helpful, polite, professional and accommadating. He explained how to get to parking very well, and was always willing to answer a question if I had one. The young lady at the desk Saturday morning was also very helpful in assisting with storing my luggage until I was ready to leave. Breakfast left a bit to be desired, but it was there.

Walking distance to Canada Place Cruise Terminal
We are here in Vancouver to start our Royal Caribbean cruise tomorrow. Days Inn is a fine place to stay. For us its best feature is a relatively short (probably less than 10 minutes) and mostle downhill walk to the Canada Place Cruise Terminal. Although not important to us the windows on the side of the building only look at the concrete wall of the adjacent building (at least on the 4th floor). Our room has a queen size bed, a desk, a small closet, a small refrigerator and an AC unit. The bathroom is a nice size with toilet, sink and bathtub. The complimentary breakfast was nice.

Good for an overnight stay to the cruise terminal
Like 👍 my review! We had an overnight stay at "Days Inn by Wyndham Vancouver Downtown" and it met our low expectations when it comes to price, value, and location. We chose the location due to its close proximity to the Canada Place Cruise Ship Terminal and were glad to quickly wake up and walk over with our luggages with ease. There were no outstanding issues with checkin and checkout with the staff being approachable and friendly. Since our last stay, the lighting in the reception is brighter and cleaner and the rooms were fixed. The interior design of the hallways were still dated but we had no major issues with the elevator or the stairs to get to our room. The internet was significantly improved with no issues using our mobile devices. The hotel should invest some time to address any poor quality construction in the room and hallways including random patch holes in the wall. Lastly, the elevator sometimes gets stuck on a particular level and needs to be reset, which the hotel should resolve as soon as possible. Nevertheless, the free continental breakfast was very nice with a variety of items to choose from (waffles, hard boiled eggs, cereal, pastries, coffee, and teas) to get ready for the day. What I most appreciated was the gym day pass at the nearby YWCA which had a locker room, a swimming pool, and several machines to choose from to wake up for the day. All in all, the place is great for an overnight stay such as next day cruise travelers.
