Stayed two nights in Rome before heading east, and the location was perfect for us. We were close to many many great restaurants and coffeehouses, and spent one day walking from the hotel to the Spanish stairs, the fountain and coliseum. The area felt very safe and quiet but still busy with a buzzing feel.
But on top of all this, the best was still the host Max. He kept in contact with us before we arrived to make sure we were coming in and if we needed anything, and even tho we landed after check in hours, he kept in touch and came to the hotel to welcome us. Great service minded guy and helped us with maps, gave us his personal number for texting stupid questions like what pizzeria he recommended etc.
The hotel itself is an apartment Max rebuild to 4 separate hotel rooms with its own bathroom. Good space, we were 3 people (one 12 y/o) with couple of bags but didn’t feel crowded. Good beds, clean bathroom and we weren’t bothered by any noise at all.
If we go back to Rome, we have to try get a reservation at his hotel again.
