It was one of the lowest priced rooms in the area, and as a one-night stop-over I couldn't be happier given the price. The area felt safe, and the staff was great - helpful with dinner recommendations, very friendly. Would definitely stay again if passing through the area.

Property is in a convenient area, easily accessible. The condition of the rooms is very poor. The furniture, sheets and towels were all stained. The toilet seat was damaged and the shower handle was very loose, so it took a lot of time to calibrate the temperature of the shower. The room was over all depressing to be in.

We had trouble with the check in. We got the wrong key and opened the door of a room with people in it. Next room we got, the bath light above the sink was out and the remote was gone. we finally got a room. The floor had sticky spots. We think someone spilled pop. So the floor was dirty! We stayed in this room because we had to be somewhere in 15 min.

The Urbandale Econolodge is just fine. You get what you pay for. It isn't the best kept up property, but I never felt that it was unsafe or unsanitary. If you want a better quality stay, you need to be willing to pay a higher rate.
