8/10 Very good
Jan 9, 2023
This was a rustic lodge on an island off the coast from Missirah. Despite challenges finding the boat launch and getting the pirogue to take us to the lodge, we had a good stay. The hostess, Kiki, was warm and inviting. The property felt a bit tired (I think many properties in rural Senegal have this from the lack of tourists during the pandemic restrictions), the place had a number of activities to try. The food, particularly the fixed three course supper provided. A few cloudy days was limiting the capacity of the solar power, which presented as limited water to the cabins overnight. I wish I had more than one night to relax in this unique setting.
