The carpet was worn and dirty; needs to be replaced. I was placed in a room right next door to a back entrance that was never locked. I didn't need to use my key card to get in, anyone could enter. The TV only had one channel and so I tried to call the front desk to fix it, but the phone didn't work at all, no dial tone. Whole place needs a major face lift. No wonder it was inexpensive.

I’ve stayed in a number of budget-friendly hotels in the Scottsdale area and this is the best of them in my experience. Very convenient for Shea/Scottsdale, but on a quiet side street. Everything clean, and mostly quiet except the occasional door slam from other guests, and the air con was a little noisy, but those are minor compared to other places. Breakfast pretty good with a number of options. Friendly efficient staff. Will be staying there again next week.

I came into town for a few days and my stay was good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The elevator was broken, but there was another elevator down the hall. The hotel itself was pretty quiet. The hallways were very dark and the room was ok. It could use some updates (stained office chair, stained sitting chair, worn carpet). The hotel location had a few places to eat within walking distance and there was coffee available all day in the lobby. Breakfast was usual hotel breakfast (oatmeal, eggs, bread, meat, pancakes, yogurt, juice, etc) and I would say it compared to any other hotel that offers a “free” breakfast. Overall a decent stay and I wouldn’t have any problems staying here again if I come back to town.
