Convenient location just a 10 minute walk from town. Clean room and private bath. Responsive host and easy departure. Perfect for what we needed for 2 nights!

Donegal visit
Do not stay here!! We only saw the host 1 time when we checked in and we never knew his name. The breakfast was left up to the guess to prepare themselves. The beds were so uncomfortable you could feel the springs. The bathroom ceiling was peeling and the towel rack would fall off when you would grab the towel, the flusher for the toilet was not seated properly. Worse place I stayed at out of the 8 places I booked for a 2 week travel around the island, a complete dive.

The owner let us in showed us around the property and left. We didn't know that there were other guests as no one was there when we arrived. They obviously weren't happy about us being there we cold hear them through the walls arguing about us being there that we were gonna eat their food downstairs in the kitchen. It made for a stressful stay we couldn't wait to leave in the morning early! The house is lovely, but they were doing construction next door and they showed up early to move fencing and the equipment, so glad to move on to next desitiantion.

Insgesamt ok.
Das Zimmer war bequem (2 Einzelbetten - "kingsize"). Leider waren die Einrichtung und die Badausstattung tlw. in keinem guten Zustand, z. B. waren die Wasserhähne nicht fest verschraubt. Positiv ist die Möglichkeit, die Küche zu nutzen. Continental breakfast ist mit Aufpreis von 5 Euro zu buchen. Eine gute Grundausstattung ist vorhanden. Das Frühstück bereitet man selbst. Der Checkout erfolgt bis 12 Uhr - das ist ebenso prima. Allein bei der Sauberkeit, besonders in Bad und Küche mangelt es. Ist aber noch im Rahmen.

We didn’t actually stay here on arrival had to call the host who arrived and escorted us to a different property altogether the Railway Lodge saying the shower wasn’t functioning. Although our stay here was good it want what we were expecting so slightly disappointed.
