Old hotel
Two rooms booked and were different ends of hotel - one had sea view- one poor disappointing view. Rooms were good size and clean but very cold as radiators hardly came on. We were on fifth floor and water took a while to come through warm. Queue for reception as only one person on Limited bar choice but a good breakfast and staff were pleasant in all areas

Good classic hotel
Hotel was ok for price. My only issue would be the shower that was operated by two mixer taps and almost impossible to get the temperature right.

Plymouth HOE
What a wonderful hotel, could not fault the staff, hotel was clean and room was large, clean and spacious, we had a dog with us and nothing was too much trouble, the hotel is close to Plymouth HOE so good for a stroll with the dog. I would happily recommend the hotel if you have a dog, it`s not just dog friendly the staff go out of their way to make your dogs stay a happy experience.

Staying local to the ferry
This is a beautifully restored old building with lots of history. It feels pretty grand inside, but is not stuffy ;-) lovely and quiet even though next to the road, and with ample parking around. A less than 5 minute drive to the ferry, which is so convenient.

Excellent location from Britany Ferries dock, nice views from hotel with nicely maintained old buildings looks like castle. Also I was amazed how hotel dispatch Taxi with there system, quick and modern technology.

Bit disappointing.
Front desk were helpful and friendly. We paid for a superior double. The room was really drab and had strange twin headboards mounted on the wall that didn’t sit over the bed. When we complained we were moved to a better room promptly. The hotel is def outdated and a bit rundown but the staff were pleasant and the room was clean. The plug socket blew out and killed our phone charger. We probably wouldn’t stay again.

It was across the road from our theatre venue. The elegance of years past has been maintained with professional, up to date services. A couple of USB ports in the room would have been nice.
