I stayed at the Radisson for my first time in São Paulo and I had a great stay. The hotel was clean, quiet and the air conditioning worked wonderful. It was easy to walk around the area from the hotel and the staff was friendly. The morning breakfast had many options and highlighted local dishes and fruits.

Very conveniently located to Paulista. Check in was tedious- not great after a long flight. The “luxury room” appeared rather basic, so rang up to check that it wasn’t a mistake. Apparently, their interpretation of “luxury” is a room above the 12th floor, with a view of pretty much nothing. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of options- most impressed.

We had nightmare in staying with this Radisson hotel. The robbery was happened to us at 3:00 PM. My wife and I were standing in front of the Radisson sign and trying to take a picture of this Radisson hotel. The robbery happened with 10-20 Radisson staffs next to us, about 5 meters away. My wife’s Phone was robbed away by a biker. I was pushed down on the side walk. All the staffs just watched without any pity. I asked them to report to police, and them said they are not understanding English. Asked us to report to police at airport. I was badly injured with scratches all over my face, belly, hands, and knees.

Rooms need a lot of maintenance work. We rented 3 rooms, and every room had a problem. Lockers didn’t work in 2 out of 3. A/C in our room started dripping on the second night, and flooded the room. Another general problem is that the bathrooms don’t have a/c. They get very hot, like a sauna! On the positive side, the staff were willing to fix things or relocate us.
