Can’t really say from what but he was ok prior. It put a damper in us enjoying other services. The plunge pool room was a great feature but too cold to take a dunk. Gives a jacuzzi effect without bubbles but no option to for a warmer temperature. Overall, would recommend for couples or solo trip.

Lovely, quiet, tranquil and spacious: a true jungle oasis in Tulum centro that is the definition of bang for your buck. Could not have been more pleased with my room with a private pool, and everything from the rooftop pool to the jungle restaurant was superb. This is a really nice hotel. Glad I wasn’t deterred by the negative reviews. The hotel is secure, there is security on the premises and cameras all around. I felt safe. The staff were very helpful and friendly, even got a baby lizard out of our room lol. It’s close to everything, no more than 10-15 minutes away. Taxis are high, we used ride shares but they are not welcomed by the taxi drivers so be aware of pick up locations. The place is so serene, really quiet and relaxing. The restaurant on site has really good breakfast. The power did go out on our last day for a few hours which is common in Tulum fyi. We just enjoyed nature and the pool during that time, plus the common areas like the lobby and restaurant has backup generators and were still operating as normal. Will stay here again.
