I recommend a stay here if you’re looking to visit Stari Bar. I think some of the most spectacular hotels views I’ve enjoyed. Very quiet, very relaxing. A sleepy little town. Breakfast is ok- something for everyone. Loads of amazing bars and restaurants to choose. The hotel doesn’t serve any alcohol just as an FYI.

Fabulous, sparkling clean, amazing spa. Beautiful property in the old town Bar. My mom and I are in love with this place, will surely go back. The staff were so professional and friendly, made everything perfect. Room was so comfortable and so so clean— spotless. Decor was also very well done, we were inspired. We also loved the restaurant and pool. The best was the spa. The spa staff Mira and Mia have MAGICAL hands, we will never forget.

Stara Carsija is an amazing hotel! Very clean and staff that is attentive and caring. Parking is right next to hotel and the pool has amazing views. Built right on top of the old town with easy access. Complimentary breakfast is homemade and authentic to the area and the on-site restaurant is just as good.

This resort was by far the best stay I have had in Montenegro. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They had a crib for my daughter (which I had not asked for but was pleased to see they accommodated for us), a pool right outside of our room, and a delicious breakfast buffet. We felt at home and fell in love with the location and old town feel. We will most definitely be coming back!

The property is set right in the old town. Amazing views and the overall atmosphere is quite unique. Clean, lovingly furnished, well designed…everything you are looking for in a hotel. Good stay
Stari Bar is absolutely beautiful, we are very relieved we chose to stay here rather than Bar, which is much more touristy. The hotel is lovely, has beautiful views and staff are helpful. We ate in the hotel on one evening and the food was good and prices were comparable with the UK. Breakfast was limited, we would have liked more fresh fruit, fresh bread, and a bigger range of options to choose from. However, what we did have was tasty. We didn’t realise that the hotel doesn’t serve alcohol, however this was not a problem for us as we don’t drink. We had a small issue with an alarm in our room, which the handy lady fixed for us very promptly and she was particularly helpful. Overall a good stay and we would return if we come back to Montenegro.

This was an outstanding hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was serviced. The spa facilities were first class. The food was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. There was no alcohol served in the hotel. There were a lot of cats and stray dogs around the outside of the hotel which was a bit off putting. The receptionist staff were very nice.

If we can give a rating more than 10/10, we will this to his hotel. It is such a gem of a place. The staff is very nice and friendly. The place has a great view of the old town. It is very charming. The beds are very comfortable. Internet works very well. They have an outdoor as well as indoor swimming pool, spa and hammam. We were scheduled to spend 2 nights, but decided to stay one more night.

The setting in Old Town Bar was beautiful with views across to the mountains and further down the valley. Out family room with two bedrooms was perfect for a family with 2 kids. Separate single beds for the kids too - so no squabbling. The room was spotless and well appointed with everything you could possibly need. Staff were super friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The spa was also a fabulous and we had some great treatments from masseurs who really knew what they were doing. Next time we'll make sure we do a chocolate massage for the kids. Yes you read that right. Overall a magical place to stay.
