The room was decent enough, but there were some annoyances that make it hard to recommend this place. The biggest of which is the lack of privacy. At every hotel I have ever stayed, I always put the "do not disturb" sign on the door even when I am out of the room if I do not want them coming in (mostly b/c I tend to spread out and don't want my stuff moved around). Unfortunately, this hotel ignores the sign. Once you turn your key in to go out, they assume they are allowed in even if you have the "Do not Disturb" sign on the door. Every time I went out, I came back to find the sign was moved inside and it was clear people had been in to clean up.
As for the annoyances: There was only one visible outlet that I could find and it was not near the desk (hence the laptop on the floor so it could charge). If you need to charge more than one item, good luck. Also, the free internet kicks you off after 4 hours and you have to go through the sign in process again (the account log-in info you get expires and only works for one device anyway). The lock mechanism for the room door could also use an upgrade.
Finally, they list their nightly price for a single at the reception as 250£. Do NOT pay this. You can stay at a much nicer hotel for that price.
