A very pleasant family stay.
Stayed four nights in march 2025. The hotel is located in both a calm and beautiful spot north of Hyde park. Convenient and cheap communication possible to Piccadilly Circus, Oxford street, and Victoria station by buss. The building is old, which ofcourse comes with some drawbacks, but also adds ambience and personal charm. Our family of four enjoyed the room and did not experience any of the negatives that I had read in previous reviews before booking. The breakfast was quite "english" and plain, but varied enough so even the picky ones could start the days with a full stomach. Overall a very pleasant stay. PS. I almost forgot, I think I only spoke to the staff at check-in and check-out, but they were very friendly and helpful! DS.

The Corus hotel is in an excellent location for getting on the tube or walking in Hyde park. The staff quickly dealt with some minor issues. Kudos to Michael who took an hour out of his working day to help me activate my e-sim card. Will definitely return this hotel.

The first night we were in a room overlooking Hyde park and the traffic was very noisy so we asked to be moved to another room . The young man on reception was very obliging and moved us to a much quieter room it was a lot better. The hotel staff were very friendly . The rooms are a bit dated but nice and clean . I would definitely stay there again .

Overall great stay
Overall a great stay! We had some trouble with the heating, which apparently was shut down at the hotel. Since we travelled in December it was a bit chilly, but they offered us some heaters, which was great. The service was great! Especially Jason in Concierge department. So helpful with our suitcases and ordering a cab.

The location, staff and amenities were great. Very good accessibility to central London with an underground station within 5 minutes walk. Only let down was some of the room maintenance, I feel the the room was fairly priced and a great size for a family of 4 but seeing loose fittings for shower curtain rails, taps that are poorly fixed and lights that don't work is a bit unacceptable in a hotel of this standard. All in all we loved our stay and getting the breakfast included is definitely worthwhile.
