We stopped here for night on our way to Winnipeg. Our only complaint is that the AC didn't make much difference even though we had it on all night. Was nice and unexpected to have a fridge and microwave in the room. Free shared bbq for guests also and free continental breakfast.

Property was conveniently located. Parking lot was a muddy mess. Ended up tracking mud into the room. Door had to be slammed to shut it. Walls were paper thin. Breakfast was a joke. Overpriced for what was offered!

One weekend of each summer, my partner and I come and stay in the Gateway Motel. We have always enjoyed it and have never had complaints with the service, accommodation, and like the rustic appearance of the motel surrounded by nature. I love the lighting around the area and it reminds me of many small towns I have lived in. At times, the clerk checking in people can across as a little abrupt but we will be back next summer. Thank you Gateway Motel❤️

Fine for what it is. They offer BBQ's and a fire pit area, which is nice. Breakfast = waffle maker, real muffins (not minis in a bag), cereal & yogurt. Room is spacious. Bathroom is not. Walls are thin. Fridge & microwave are clean. Beds are firm -- boxsprings are stained. Pillows fine; thin blankets. Good AC

Just settled in. Seems like an okay place for its age. Clean and tidy. Lady at the check in was nice to deal with. Room is a bit small but all I needed is a place to sleep. Bed is firm the way I like them to be. The TV wouldn’t work but it didn’t take long to realize it wasn’t plugged in. It’s nothing fancy but decent value for the money.
