The hotel is in a fantastic location on the North Beach of Eilat, with a nice pool, direct beach and promenade access. Very close to the airport, shops and restaurants.
this hotel is an older property, as mentioned in other reviews, however i did not realize how much so. i am glad i heeded the reviews that suggested paying extra for a premium room... BUT even though we paid for a premium room with sea view, we were given a very dated room that smelled musty, the bathroom smelled of chlorine, and the room was just in very bad shape.
where the staff did shine, was after my complaint to the front desk about the room condition, we were "upgraded" to another premium room a few doors down, which was in significantly better shape and did not have any issues of our first room. the hotel staff also added spa access and business lunch to our stay, though we did not use these features.
the staff was also helpful with accommodating us for late checkout. Kai at the front desk was able to arrange for us to check out at 4PM instead of the usual 11AM, as our flight was at 5:30PM. we were able to enjoy the beach/pool, and still have a shower available to us.
