Road noise from back side of hotel is absurd.
I settled on a 3 stars because of the initial encounter in checking in to the hotel. Though I didn't see cars on blocks with missing tires, I did see jacks underneath a car that had been there the whole time I was there which was a week. Not a big deal until you get the list of rules to follow which made me think there were things to be concerned about during the stay.
Firstly, you can't just walk in to check in. You have to use a phone by the door to page the desk which can be seen from the front doors. So red flag there because why would you need a phone to access the building. Second, I had to dial 3 times for someone to answer and no one actually picked the phone to let me in...it was more that someone came out of the door behind the counter, saw me standing there and then let me in. I asked why it was like this and the person replied with that all hotels should offer this "service" so that just anyone can't walk into the hotel to which they explained Chaska had a homeless population to which I didn't see single homeless person there. Not saying it's not true but still pretty strange. Also there is one way in and out and I know this because I asked if the room key worked on the other doors to go outside to which they said no. As well as you can see a bench literally blocking the door from the outside so you can't get out or in. It's just strange vibes which makes me believe this really isn't a hotel though it seems to run like one. I wouldn't stay again.

Excellent service
Our stay has been great so far 😊. The staff are very friendly and it's quiet. Off the main road but it's not bad for noise. Our room is right on the main street side and it's not noisy.. We're staying untill the first of the year ☺️

Do you like the strong scent of marijuana in the lobby and hallways, damp carpets and pillows, bathtub drains that don't close and dry diarrhea crusties in the toilet? Then Room 217 is the room for you! Only $160 a night!

Not a great hotel to stay at due to offering vouchers for homeless. They need places to stay which is fine but there is shady things going on.

The front desk staff was incredibly overworked (not her fault). There was an overdose the first night of our stay, several police, ambulances, and fire trucks were present.

Worst stay ever
This should not even be listed. It smells like sewerage and is infested with roaches and other bugs. This place was no where near worth the money I paid. The pull out bed was absolutely dangerous. I addressed the roach problem several times I was not offered a new room they kept claiming pest control was coming and they never came. My leg is broken and this was truly a terrible experience. In all my years of traveling I can honestly say I have never went through this.

As an Expedia customer I don’t think you should be booking people at this property!! There were mouse traps in the front entrance and lobby, the elevator was filthy and the room was in no condition to be slept in!! We checked out within an hour after we ha checked in! There was no way we would stay there!!

Stayed here a couple years ago, awful but allot of construction going on…figured it would be improved by now. It was worse. Atmosphere, staff, and people “present” all rang of enormous sober living. Dirty, TV did not work, sketchy. Will NEVER stay here again, hell no.
Super8 a block away is 4-star compared to this dump. Sad, it looks like it WAS a nice hotel at one time. Amazing this place is even in business.

Very unprofessional from the minute I stepped in the door. They told me they didn’t have my Expedia reservation and made me pay on site. I drop my stuff off in my room and went out for the evening. Upon returning there were cockroaches crawling all over my bed. I took a video and asked for a refund at the front desk. They told me it would take 3 to 5 days.

This property is not so much "suites" as it is small temporary housing apartments. The people here are not vacationers, they seem to be living there. So things are very worn-down, the public areas are dirty, and there is a lot of noise and people in the hallways. As of June 2023 the street out front of the property is under construction, so the parking was very limited and inconvenient.
