Quick overnight stay
Cute little place in downtown Long Beach. Loved our one night stay. I would definitely pack lighter for this trip because the building is older and only has stairs.

Great stay
Great little spot close to action. Yes you have to walk up a few stairs but not bad. Can hear some things from outside and other rooms but this is all part of the nestalgia, and romance of this historic spot. You can actualy open the windows all the way. No safety police BS at this place. Love iy and we found the stay just right before a cruise. Btw. We were able to find parking on the west side street side. I think we got lucky. We were here in feb. A little chilly at night so may need more than uour cruise attire for a night out.

I had read concerns about the cleanliness of the rooms before i booked, but notbhave any issue when i checked in. Everything was great.
The mobile check process was also very easy. No issues. The only tough thing was parking. I opted to not pay for the lot, but knowing now how busy downtown Long Beach is, i would defintely opt for this next time.

Great hotel!!!
This was the best place I’ve stayed when traveling to Long Beach. The price point for the convenience, size of the suite and amenities was amazing. Tracy was such a pleasure to work with - this hotel is definitely a hidden gem and I will be booking again every time I come to Long Beach.

Great spacious rooms!
Wonderful stay, everything was as planned and the rooms are very spacious! Feels more like an apartment than a hotel room. Very thankful to the customer service and early check-in as possible on a busy festival weekend.

Real Gem! Highly recommend!
We were not quite sure when we booked the room if it would be ok…not familiar with the area. However, this place was super easy, decorated wonderfully and had more than we
Even needed for a one night stay! We both slept like babies! Well done conversion of an older unit - whoever decorated it had excellent taste - would stay at if in town again for sure! Found some wonderful Thai food across the street that made the trip even better! Thank you!

Overall Fine
The check in process was convenient, and the parking garage wasn’t too far. As described this is a as historic building so it has a bit of a creepy vibe, we arrived after dark and the halls are very dimly lit. Our room was fine, clean enough and clean white linens on the beds. Our room was facing the street and since this is an old building the windows are single pane and every noise outside can be heard. There were people laughing/talking, walking up and down the street and we must have heard at least 10 ambulances between 10-6 am. So if you’re a light sleeper bring a sound machine or something to drowned out all the night time noise.

really enjoyed it at the hotel Metropolitan. It is a nice personal touch in a city of hustle and bustle and big hotels couple of the little details can be spruced up, but other than that, it was an amazing first time experience for me and my girlfriend we will definitely be back
