Great ski trip stay.
Great location in between angel fire and red river. Cute little town with a few nice restaurants. Hotel owners are managing and struggling finding help but were kind and transparent and friendly. I'd definitely stay again.

2/10 Poor

There was no one to check us in and ask questions. Also there was stale rice on the bed and the room was old and bedding had stains. They used old carpet for floor rugs when getting out the shower. Disgusting

2/10 Poor

Terrible
No staff, heater didn’t work, no toilet paper. Room halfway painted. Lights cover in plastic and weren’t working. It was the worse experience plus. Hotels.com even though they were notified wouldn’t help us refund or contact them.

Multi Tasking as an Art
I recently stayed at Econo Lodge in Eagle Nest and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff. Despite the busy environment, they managed to multitask efficiently, attending to various guest needs with remarkable ease. What stood out the most was their ability to handle different types of guests and their unique requirements, all while maintaining a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Whether it was a quick check-in, providing local recommendations, or addressing special requests, the staff handled everything with professionalism and a smile. Their dedication to ensuring a pleasant stay for every guest truly sets this hotel apart. I highly recommend Econo Lodge in Eagle Nest for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to stay. Kudos to the amazing husband and wife team!!
Bathroom Sink Seperate from tub making it easy for me and the wife to get ready at the same time
The rooms are always clean and put together with special touches from housekeeping

It is an older hotel. Pet friendly. It was quiet and the room was clean but the facility was obviously being remodeled and landscaped. Slept well.

It's an old Biker motel that has a lot of old-school character. They were in the process of renovating so things were a bit messy but it was quiet, and cool. Restraunts just a minute from the place and eagles nest is in-between red river and Angel fire, so there are groceries and gas in every direction. The owner was really nice.

It wasn’t bad, good for the price. Only thing that would’ve made it better is if the air conditioner worked and if the office was open for breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was not fancy but nice and clean which is important to us. The owners were awesome and very accommodating. Even though we don't skii, this is the perfect location between Red River and Angel Fire skii areas.

The outside of the hotel looked generally in disrepair, the cleanliness of the room, especially the carpet, was questionable. There was paint peeling from the bathroom ceiling. We could not get the WiFi to work based on the channel and password we were given. We could not get sound on the television, the remote did not have a volume control. The door of the room next to ours was unoccupied, unattended to, with the door ajar and the light on, for the two days we were there.

We enjoyed the excellent answers about the area history that we got while conversing with the general manager. She knows her history about the local area as well as the state. Such a vibrant history. We will be visiting Chimayo on her suggestion. Our room was very clean, safe and she even went out to buy an alarm clock as ours broke. We truly feel like our business is appreciated

Nice place to stay, great view of the mountains, very good breakfast, clean, reasonable price, short drive to Taos, good TV. Nothing to dislike

Liked lake and stream fishing within 30 minutes- so so eateries not-cleaning service individual left room unlocked after service while away from property- no refrigerator in second room even tho property manager indicated they had in storage no ac in room , window ac unit did not fit in room one, no room door security bar or lock both units, window in room 2 fell off when opening for fresh air.

Very very dirty place. The front desk husband and wife seemed high on drugs. Was horrifying experience without another place to go

Convenient and Quiet
Great location. Clean and updated bathroom. Convenient. Quiet since we were there before the summer season. The bed could use a new mattress.
