The hotel is in a good location. It is easily walkable to the Monistriaki and Plaka neighborhoods. It is quiet and probably nice for a getaway for 2. However, I was with my 2 teenage children and reserved a room for 3, with 2 queen sized beds. The second bed was a wooden slat board with 2 thin mattresses on top. I was not able to sleep for 2 nights and woke up with pain all over. I asked to change rooms after the first night and was told there was another room for one of my remaining 2 nights. It sounded like the bed situation was the same, so I declined. There is a pool in the hotel, but you have to make advance reservations to use it. Only one guest at a time is allowed. This was not at all made clear at the time of reservation. With the heat of August in Athens, having a pool to dip in after a long day of walking was a big part of why I made the reservation, it was never available during hours when we could use it. The pool reservation should have been made clear before booking. We decided to leave early to switch to another hotel, and on the morning of our departure, we woke to ants crawling through my daughter's suitcase. Needless to say, it was not a great backdrop to our stay in Athens.
