Bad experience with thieves
Nice hotel with a good location, close to the metro station of Goya. However, during the check out, with the full staff available to support customers, two strangers (not well dressed and completely outside the hotel context) succeeded to enter in the hotel, arrive in the elevator area, distract us asking some questions and take the backpack of one of my colleagues. I immediately realized that something was happening but it was already too late; the two strangers have been able to pass again in front of the hotel staff (there was also a gentleman of the staff right in front the entry door) a disappear on the street. Very bad experience, the hotel gave immediately support to the police showing the internal camera recordings however they do not have any insurances to cover such events and they didn’t offer any kind of refunding for the backpack stolen. Not acceptable that somebody can enter in the hotel, passes in front the welcome desk and reaches the elevator area with nobody that stop him. I don’t know if their intention was to take elevators and go to the upper floors or simply look for a victim in the elevator area… in any case situation not acceptable.

Disappointed - overpriced
The hotel entrance and service is more like a 2 star hotel. I can’t believe they charged $800 to $1,000 per night and for this price, you get one tiny bottle of water (~8 oz) for two people. Bed was hard as a rock. Bathroom grout was black. No assistance with luggage and steps to get to registration desk. Entrance carpet is coming off in some places.
