Stunning rooms, fantastic complimentary gifts for my partners birthday! Great views with a beautiful property not far from the town! Breakfast was a brilliant range of foods and drinks on offer and staff were very helpful and accommodating throughout the hotel! The spa area was a nice little bonus within the hotel! Overall, loved our stay and would definitely return!

Great location for racecourse
Lovely hotel in a great location for York racecourse and a short taxi ride into the city centre (or 30 min walk). Rooms are very well appointed although the bathroom could be upgraded with dual flush toilet etc. Bed was very comfortable and noise was at a minimum. Staff are helpful and friendly. We like that the pool was open till 11pm

I was exited to be offered an upgrade, unfortunately I could hear the hum of a fan or generator. I spoke to reception and they quickly swapped my room. This is a nice hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. To be recommended.

Staff are professional, considerate and welcoming. Breakfast abd restaurant was good. Rooms are a bit outdated . Overall a good stay and we enjoyed the spa facilities which open ftom 6 AM - 11PM. Very good location to visit main tourist attractions by hoping onto bus just outside hotel and in city10 mins later. We would come back.
