Exceeded my expectations. Booked very close to travel dates, and this was one of my few options. I went with the Studio with Garden View. My room ended up being in the Dolphin building which was 1 of the 2 closest to the beach, and also being ground floor was literally just a few steps to the sand. The room was clean, had a big bathroom (the giant sea turtle inlaid on the floor was a great touch), and an updated kitchen. Room service came once in the middle for a week stay which was just fine for my needs (towels could be traded out at any time). The grounds were beautifully kept, and the pools & hot tubs clean. There were renovations going on at one of the buildings farther from the beach, but I never heard it from my building. Plenty of free parking (which is a big deal in this area). The Ka'anapali Beach Trail passes through the resort, so it offered easy walking access to the north & south. In conclusion I was happily blown away by what I received for money spent, and this was tied with 1 other place for the cheapest options in all of West Maui. This beat other resorts (from previous times) by closeness to a sand beach, beauty, & amenities and was several hundred dollars cheaper per night.

Solid 3 star hotel. We booked through Travelocity after a friend recommended this hotel for the location and value. We knew it would be dated based upon their stay so our expectations weren’t too high. We had a very spacious “1 bedroom” which wasn’t truly a 1 bedroom as there was an old school accordion screen dividing the rooms. I probably would have giving this place more stars if it weren’t for the absolutely awful mattresses. They had to have been over 20 years old each. One was as hard as a box spring and the other had 2 human sized indents that you’d fall into and couldn’t roll out of. The full kitchen was wonderful and came in handy for breakfast and packing lunches but there were some cleanliness issues there too. Nothing we couldn’t deal with though… All of that said we didn’t ask to change rooms as it was a booked week and we had our 2 little kids with us. changing rooms felt like more of a racket and a gamble than just staying put. the staff was incredibly kind. And the LOCATION was incredible. Just out front there’s a beautiful calm and sandy beach to float/ swim in and In front of the next resort over there’s great snorkeling. The restaurant at this hotel had friendly service and made a decent burger and fries and had a beautiful ocean view and pool view. I don’t know that I’d book this hotel again. I’d probably try something new. But we’re overall satisfied with our visit

While the decor is stuck in 70s Hawaii, our stay was comfortable and clean. Friendly staff and amazing beach access. Surrounding areas well maintained and clean. Quiet and relaxing. We did miss the housekeeping service though, even if for every other day during our stay. Fresh beach towels available at any time. We loved it here!

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. It is an older property and shows a bit of age. However, if you are okay with that, it is a great place to stay. Budget friendly, full kitchen, comfy bed, and decent bathroom. We had a 5 minute walk to the beach. Absolutely beautiful. We spent 7 days here in July. With that said, we had a bad sewer smell in one of the rooms. We contacted the front desk and they sent an employee who took out the garbage and sprayed a shot ton of air freshener. Not a great response as it was repeated with additional calls. Overall ,It was still worth it. View from the beach is breathtaking.

There was a terrible Ant problem in our room. We reported it the first night and they did nothing about it. The day we were leaving I filed a complaint and they seemed to disregard it. I spent $50 recleaning my families clothes, only to leave with ants still in our luggage. I would look elsewhere to stay for your trip.
