I've stayed in many different hotels across the USA and Europe. This one has the feel of old US Florida Spanish charm. The architecture, the property, and even the curved staircase will transport you back to the era when Spain owned Florida. (The hotel is not that old.)
The problem I had was the language. Everything was in Spanish: TV, hotel information posted, and the emergency evacuation placard. In the USA the norm is for the information to be in English and other languages.
As with most hotels today, they ensure your room is clean and well-stocked with essentials. During your stay, the hotel staff respects your privacy by not entering your room. You must ask the front desk to have someone tidy your room or provide you with additional essentials. This hotel follows that philosophy.
This hotel is an excellent value, and I will stay here again.
