Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Our stay was perfect. The hotel had just the right amenities for us and the location was ideal for the hiking trips we were doing. Plus there was a bar and restaurant at the bottom floor. Overall, the hotel accommodations were perfect for us!

Great hotel close to canyon lodge. The hotel room is dated but does give a cozy mountain cabin feel. The main attraction is how close it is to canyon lodge so you can just walk there in the morning for first tracks. The bar and restaurant are also huge pluses with great food and drinks.
