Great value.
Excellent location, convenient parking, good service.
2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Staff were friendly and professional. Room was small but comfortable. You cant expect much more than that from a budget location. Transport links nearby made it very easy for getting into Manchester for a show. I would definitely stay again

6/10 Good

Poorly maintained. Bathroom was freezing cold. Although there was a heater mounted on the wall it didn’t work.

Great hotel, great price and lovely breakfast
Struggle to fault it, especially for the price paid and i stay away for work every week so im hard to please. Room was basic but warm and comfortable, as was the bed Plugs by the bed, hairdryer on the wall by a mirror, tv and its remote worked and free wifi that actually worked. Breakfast was very good, full english cooked fresh to order with lots of side options. Parking was free. Rating wise, again for what i paid would be a 9.5 out of 10 and would definitely stay there again.

Won't be back
Parking is not free at all (£12), and you are charged tax on arrival. Pretty grim conditions. Perfect choice if you want to experience the closest thing to a refugee camp. Won't be back

In need of modernisation
A little dated and needs modernisation. I stay away a lot and these are the worse beds in any hotel I’ve stayed in; no very good for their main purpose SLEEP 🙄

Excellent service but very poor hotel
The service from the staff was excellent but they are let down by the state of the hotel. Sat on the bed and nearly went through the was as it was on wheels, seat top not connected to legs so moved all over the place, then to top it all, the hair dryer exploded. Breakfast was poor but it’s not surprising as it was left to one poor girl running about doing everything
Gavin, 1-night trip

Campanile you get what you expect. Good safe parking, good bar and breakfast area. Staff great, rooms tired but functional. Location 10 minutes walk downhill to tram station.

It was great good for a weekend away:) Great view
Julie, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Most horrible experience
I had one of the most terrible experience at the hotel. The staff member completely rejected to help in anyway, Finding an alternative for parking, not willing to help at 11:30pm. Telling me to find a parking space at the back of the building nearly at midnight, upon my asking, how do i pay for the parking ticket, the answer was, "sorry i don't know", not willing to help for my suitcase just to take near the stairs since there was no lift..... his mannerism was unacceptable. Campanile has a good reputation, at this occasion it has damaged it. Overall a terrifying experience. Between the reception building and the hotel accommodation, there's a freeway and there were some drunk individuals passing by.....we should be a more careful society...
