Worse managed hotel we have stayed in. Same manager for Super 8 & Quality Inn. Manger was missing most of the time and you had to call and wait for them to walk over from the other hotel. Booked room with a note requesting downstairs room, due to a medical disability. Room given was on the 2nd floor. Hotel had no elevator. No other hotels had availability, or we would have canceled, since we were staying multiple nights.
2nd night, our key cards did not open the door. I had to call and wait for someone to come and reprogram the cards. 3rd night they emptied the trash and took our dirty towels, but did not leave any clean towels or make the bed. I went downstairs and called the other hotel 3 times with no answer, and had to walk over to the other hotel to get towels (which were still damp). The manager's excuse was they were fully booked. The next day saw the laundry room had huge piles of dirty linens, the washer or dryer were unused and the manager was sitting there, I guess fully booked wasn't the real problem.
The room was dirty, the refrigerator only kept the drinks just above room temperature and the freezer section didn't freeze. I again complained to the manager when checking out and they told me they were fully booked, and had to take care of people coming in. They pointed to their green policy saying they didn't have to provide clean towels or make the bed, and I told them then they should not have taken our towels and left us with none. Horrible experience.
