very 'good-value' central hotel with good breakfast, nice reception area , bar. Not the nicest neighbourhood, but short distanse to Akerselva ( river) , Løkka, central Station and so on. Nice basic room, ok + bed, with own toilet/shower. Windows to open a bit. No fridge/water heater.

Ok, but bad cleaning
The room was fine, but it was not clean. There were crumbles from cookies/bread on the floor, and my kids found old toys in the bed. We asked front desk to clean again while we ate dinner. When we came back, the floor was cleaned, but then we found a plastic container with rotten fruit in the wardrobe. So cleaning was in no way satisfactory.

Prisgunstig, rent og med en nydelig frokostbuffet.
Jeg valgte dette hotellet privat, etter å ha vært der i jobbsammenheng tidligere. Rene, deilige, lyse, trivelige rom. Sentralt, med gangavstand til offentlig transport og med Taxi og trikk rett ved siden av hotellet. Likevel uforstyrret og rolig. Idyllisk med Akerselva i et område der kulturer og byliv florerer. Frokostbuffeten er i en klasse for seg. Allsidig, sund og delikat presentert. I tillegg er det prisgunstig. Jeg kommer sikkert til å velge Anker Hotel ved fremtidige besøk til Oslo.
