We stayed here 10 years ago and again this year. Both times we had one of the apartment units which give you a small kitchen nook with a mini fridge, a 2 burner stovetop, a microwave, plates, cups, pots and pans and utensils. The room seemed small when we checked in but we were there for 22 nights and never felt cramped. In addition to a bed, we had a sofabed, 2 chairs and an L-shaped desk which also served as a table for meals. The entry contained a wardrobe with shelves to hold all our clothing. The hotel included a breakfast buffet and it was fun seeing what people from other countries eat for breakfast. There were numerous healthy options and you could also get eggs cooked to order if you wanted scrambled or sunnyside up eggs to go with the hot sausages in the buffet. The lobby has a cash bar and a bowl of apples. Free tea, coffee and leftover pastries from breakfast are available in the lobby until 6PM. The hotel is just outside the old city walls and it's easy to walk to almost all the main tourist sites. The neighborhood is lively with tons of restaurants, supermarkets, banks and Euro Stores (Europe's Dollar Stores) for items you forgot or cheap postcards and souvenirs. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We had them make reservations for dinner, get us a cab to the airport and even give us an empty wine bottle to use to launch our New Years Eve fireworks. They have a tie-in with a fitness center around the corner for discounted day memberships.
