Nice hotel BUT unfortunately I must share an incident that happened to us as well as another guest during our stay:
The hotel seems to be a popular venue for events: weddings, birthdays, etc. which means the parking lot gets pretty crowded. The second night there was a big wedding, we gave our car to the valet as there was no place to park. He received our rental car, checked it, the car key tag detailing damage was left blank as it should have been. Then the next day, two cars had damage, ours at 2 different places (door and bumper) and another guest (side mirror) who got VERY upset and made a big scene.
We on the other hand said that we understand this things happen, please check the surveillance video. End of the story, the manager told me that there was nothing they could do, they have the tags but don't really use them, the video showed nothing wrong (but could not show me the video).
So I was left with a rental car damaged in 2 places. Last thing I said, was to al least give me a credit or discount in F&B bill to make up for the costs I was going to incurr on the rental. Said no.
Platinum Member on Expedia for many years now, first time I've had to leave a really bad review for a hotel, which given the way that they handle a problem, should not be in the VIP list or the SLH list.
