Great experience
Everything was great. The staff is very friendly, fast and helpful. The food was pretty good, drinks too. The facility is nice and clean. The only thing for me to complain is that the gym was closed. For us that workout everyday this is an inconvenience, but other than that everything was great.

The hotel at first glance looks like it is good, the lobby seems nice and when we got there there was not much traffic so we could check in very fast. When you get the priveliged room you are instructed to go and eat @ the bloved restaurant first, because you did not get a reservation for the other themed restaurants. So you go and have a very chill and relaxing first evening. After this you go and take another look at your "priveliged" room. You notice wall sockets missing or lose, broken pieces of furniture or lights that do not work. Eg. The lampshade just fell of when touching it, or the reading lights just didn't turn on and felt like they were just broken. the first morning we got into our "romance" chamber with mini bath on the terrace we were confronted with ZERO privacy. We asked the guest services for something more private and they just shaboinked us into another even less private room. There is no way you can enjoy a bath in your "romance" room with 20 rooms having a direct view on your bath on the terrace.(I know right) Overal we made amends with this inconvenience and started exploring our resort we would be staying in for 2,5 weeks. I could go on and on and there is much more things to be said, but the advice is as a European spending time here: don't waste your money this is not 5* 3 by Europe standard. The beach is not a private beach, the locals can just enter and you pay for a beach that does not belong to the hotel and is not private. I give this 3/5*

Property was small, did not offer a lot of amenities compared to other places I've been to, dining was poor, COULDN'T EVEN GET RESERVATIONS and I've never had that problem in all inclusive. You had to get up at 8am to reserve, and it always showed everything as fully booked out. We had to argue our way into the grill- I ordered New York strip steak and it was the color of pork.. idk what I was eating. Beaches barely had seating so we could never go and actually sit. There was no music at the beach bar.. weird. Plumbing was terrible, toilet clogged often, (had friends at other resorts and they did not have to throw their fecal tissue in a garbage can with no lid like we had to- totally unsanitary and could've at least provided a bin with a lid to cover the odor). We had a huge roach in our room, there was only one swim up bar and kids were splashing water into our faces and drinks so we had to get up. When we arrived there were two pillows on the bed so one per person which is very cheap. When we arrived we also had no towels?? Strange. We would leave notes for the cleaners to leave us fresh towels, and they wouldn't and they just took the dirty ones. We had to call multiple times for new towels because they didn't provide us rags or even a floor towel for the shower. They also never swept our room because the amount of sand in there was crazy. When we got there, the fridge had an open can of soda in it that fell and spilled everywhere.. more issues but not enough room to say.

My room was wet fur 3 days from air conditioning leaking large amounts of water. They kept not fixing it and just wiping the water up. No maintenance ever came at night because it kept pouring water at night also. Horrible to sleep in hot wet room.

I recently stayed at Catalonia , expecting a relaxing getaway to celebrate a special occasion with my fiancé. Unfortunately, our experience was far from enjoyable due to the disrespectful treatment we received and numerous issues that completely ruined our vacation. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that customer service was not a priority at this hotel. The staff were dismissive and unhelpful, making us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. We encountered significant problems with our reservations, especially when it came to dining at the hotel’s restaurant. Despite booking well in advance, our reservations were either misplaced or ignored, leaving us waiting for extended periods or, worse, without a table at all. This was supposed to be a special trip—a gift I had worked hard to give my fiancé. But instead of enjoying our time together, we were left dealing with one issue after another, with no apologies or attempts to rectify the situation from the hotel staff. It's incredibly disappointing to have a vacation I had eagerly anticipated turn into a stressful and frustrating experience. For the amount we paid, we expected much better service. Unfortunately, Catalonia failed to meet even the most basic expectations of hospitality. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking to relax and enjoy their time away. It’s simply not worth the risk of having your vacation ruined.

I was very disappointed in the way we were treated. It was an inconvenience with restaurant reservations the whole trip. The bars had horrible service and liquor quality. If I am paying for a trip for myself and my fiancé I wanted to relax and be treated with respect. I will NOT be returning back to this resort and it was not fair for a paying customer to feel this way. I really do wish that you can work on the overall experience for others.

Our room was very outdated and the backyard was a mess. We stayed in the privilege suite which was one of the top suites. The suite was very outdated, rusty, and had roaches. The hot tub was an outdoors old, dirty tub with no jets. The handles were all broken and when my fiancee got stuck in the bathroom I called maintenance. Some guy came and said someone would come back tomorrow but they never came. Also, the outlets were all outdated another big issue was limited dining. We were told to make a reservation by 8 am however over a day it was sold out. Only to find out there was an issue with their system. Finally, a day before leaving I went to the front desk and asked about our expensive room. They told us they started remodeling the rooms and I guess we got an old one.

My friend and I went to this resort back in July and had a great time! I was a little nervous because I had read some poor reviews. However, I was very pleased with our experience considering how affordable it was. I think it is important to remember that you get what you pay for. The food at the buffets was not great (but as expected), so we made dinner reservations each night and the food at the restaurants was pretty good. The beach on the property was pretty rocky so we chose to walk over to the sister resort next door where it was sandy. We opted for the cheapest room and quickly realized that the walls were thin and we could hear just about everything going on outside and in the rooms beside us. Next time, we will probably opt for the upgraded rooms (not sure if that will make a difference in noise levels though). Overall, it wasn't a big deal and could be resolved with a pair of earplugs. The all-inclusive alcohol selection was good for us. We enjoyed spending evenings at the Beachside Bar with Antolin. He was very friendly and a great bartender! The bars on the resort open at 11am and close at 11pm, but the Nightclub serves alcohol until 1am. The nightclub was more of a big room with a bar and a small dancefloor. Our first night, it was pretty dead, but by the end of our trip we had made friends with other guests and had a great time! I would definitely go back and recommend it to people wanting to have fun on a budget.
