DO NOT STAY HERE
This stay was HORRIBLE. I was notified at check in that there would be no room service/cleaning. The first night of our stay, we discovered that the room was filled with dozens of huge flies and found mouse poop on the bathroom floor. I checked out early because it was extremely uncomfortable to stay in our room and have been attempting to reach the hotel to get a refund to no avail. Avoid at all costs.

Staff was most helpful and friendly. Only complaint was area in front of sink was too small. Perhaps if bathroom door swung inward instead of outward, It would work better. What can I say, but a man must have designed it! Just ask a woman next time! We enjoyed 2 quiet restful nights. Thank you

The place was pretty decent. 30 mins from Acadia. Service was not that great. But for the price, it was understandable l

Hotel near Bar Harbor
We enjoyed our stay, beds were comfortable and actually the room was better than I expected. It had more amenities than I expected. We booked it last minute, I was looking to be close to Acadia. The room smells a little musty, but it didn’t spread to my belongings. The costumer service was great, we did get a phone call to confirm our arrival time, if we would arrive later than 10:30pm he would give us a code to get in.
Sunrise at the property.
Double beds, mini fridge tv, air conditioner.

Amazing bed
Last minute stay as we added a day to our trip. BEST HOTEL BED IVE EVER SLEPT IN!! My husband and I are bed people we need a comfy bed and this bed was amazing. I wish our whole stay was here. Also it’s close to the park right and across from Trenton Lobster Pound.

Great little inn at bridge to Mount Desert
Great little no frills Inn close to Acadia. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet and the property sounding the area was pretty cute with the tide coming right up to the property.

Badly in need of remodel and updating. Everything worn rusty and some things broken. Nice view though. Overpriced.

2/10 Poor

Sadly, we did not enjoy our stay. Compared to other locations to stay in the area, this one had some of the best reviews. However, I feel somewhat obligated to share my contrary experience. Upon arriving, the stench of mildew/something (?) in the room was so alarming. I walked around the room trying to figure out where the smell was coming from. In searching, I found several strands of hair throughout the bathroom and shower, and started finding small at-home remedy-like devices for moisture control. Later, I took my shoes off and felt the carpet was wet. The entirely carpeted room was wet. Mortified but exhausted we stayed the night in there. When we packed up to leave in the morning, all of our luggage and clothes reeked of the mildewy stench. When checking out, I let a staff member know that our room was wet and gross. The employee apologized and sent me on my way. To be frank, I wasn't sure how to navigate the situation. But what I do know, is the staff members absolutely had to know (ideally if they visited to clean) the room reeked and the entire carpet was wet (as it was incredibly ripe), and even so, gave us this room. In retrospect, I wish we'd slept in our car, and paid just shy of $200 to camp in the parking lot. Speaking of, the lot has litter surrounding the pavement, poorly contrasting the beautiful view behind the building.

Mostly clean although glass covered bureau was dusty and fingerprints had not been wiped off. Bed adequate but not firm enough for me. Outside could use some picnic tables and more chairs for viewing the water.
