Pierre & Vacance Residence Andromede was the final destination of my stay (also the main reception area). P&V own 4 or 5 hotels in Belle Plagne, all situated in the same location, but upon arrival you can end up being situated in any of these.
I booked a P&V stay because I've used them before, I wasn't surpprised with what I got. The rooms are pretty much identical in design/layout across France. They have all the amenities you need, kitchen, dishwasher, cooker, TV and such. which is all you need.
What is most important is the view outside the window in the winter months.
This hotel offers Ski in/Ski out and is located at the top of the resort in Belle Plagne. A boot room is available, although I never used it. A SKI SET rental shop is next door, along with a supermarket opposite. Important with a self cantering apartment.
I found the resort of Belle Plagne fantastic! The amount of ski area is imense, I was with my 4y old daughter, so didn't get to use it to full capacity. 75% of runs in my opinion were Blue, although occasionaly became a Red, in steep sections.
The resort offers so much variety of things to do:
Ski by torch light at night.
Skiidoo's
An Olympic Bobsled Run
An Ice Grotto, carved out of the Glacier
Outdoor Swimming Pool, and lots more.....
There is a free bus shuttle between other Plagne resorts. Belle Plagne also has a 'Bubble' which runs till 1am, up & down to Plagne Bellecote, the resort below.
An awesome resort, that I will return to!
