I used the valet parking service in this hotel but they can't find my car key on the day I left. The experience is terrible, we waited half an hour watching the manager ran back and forth to find car key. Although at the end they found it, several things piss me off a lot:
- the manager asked me if I have a back up key, knowing that he has to find the key anyway and we are in rush of leaving on time, he didn't offer us anything to eat or drinking while we are waiting anxiously;
- one of the staffs at the front desk told me to call her senior manager on myself if I want to complain because she thinks this is a weekend and there is nothing that manager can do anyway. She didn't look or sound like she cares, zero empathy, and she obviously doesn't understand what hospitality means because she told me my attitude is bad when I told her they didn't handle this situation well politely.
I will strongly recommend this hotel to educate their front desk staffs and filter people who don't care about hospitality. I feel bad for Montreal because this city has a lot of amazing things to offer, this city shouldn't be represented by a hotel front desk team like this.
